Kit not only LOVES "Two Princes" she knows every word (and proves it whenever it happens to come on). I actually had no idea what the song was about, but I always try to remind myself that she was like 10 or 11 when that song came out, I was on my second of three undergraduate institutions. :)

I admit, I like "Two Princes." The video, not so much, although it amuses me to watch the singer dance around in his hippie hat. It reminds me of being an undergraduate.

That video is just... 90s goofy excess taken too far. What was the direction? "Ok, lady, now... look cracked out!"

I also appreciated them because a lot of rock clubs we went to (and apparently a Columbia frat house?) were places they played early before they got famous. Ah, the good old Bond Street Cafe.

My old band, "ZFP" played at the Bond Street twice, well once. . . we walked out before playing the second time.

that bar was a goddamned slum. it wasn't downtown sketchy, it was just grimy, man. After the second or third trip there, I started finding better things to do... which meant that I missed a very funny interaction between my friend, his 40-oz, and a cop back in HS. I can't remember what happened (Dora - it was Craig), but I remember it was funny.

Why'd you walk out?
