Nine years this November. Because this is the kind of book that takes up residence in your bones and probably won't even leave after you've finished and published the thing.

The world, definitely. The book: I think that's inevitable. The good thing is, I've always got more stories I can tell about the world. So even when this is done, there will always be more.

Nine years, though. Damn, son. Just ... damn.
