(I keep intending to do it myself and then not; I've found that lately it's: "am I late taking drugs? yes? that is why I feel bad. also hydrate, boo.")
Last night I cooked a pot of beef soup with leek and potato in the crockpot - it was delicious, and involved cubing a pound of beef shank, a large red potato, slicing a large handful of baby carrots and a leek and some garlic + salt/pepper/cumin/probably less paprika than it needed.
Then crockpot for 5 hours because fuck no I am not turning on my stove when it's a hundred degrees outside. Verdict: Delicious! I should've bought a loaf of crusty bread at the store when I was there.
