Yay dreams! They sound exciting! Albeit not your usual. I'm usually the one getting shot at, or shooting, in dreams. But really, there's no shame in being shot at by Moriarty of all people. The books though I am confused about. Wouldn't you be happy that your favorite childhood books are being given to a loving family for new children to enjoy? I would think that was a good thing.
That sounds like a thoroughly creepy book that I will steer well clear of for the sake of my own sanity/paranoia. However, I would be interested in hearing more about what in the world said book is supposed to be all about.
So...wouldn't that be RotTK then? :D
Can you send me a copy of what they edited? I am interested to see what they dropped as "unnecessary". Also, what is your take on said editing?

I know, right? I don't like how, when I'm sick and I need my rest, that's when it's hardest to sleep well. I can understand that. Books should be taken care of and treasured, especially the ones which play a part in your childhood memories. (I have a couple of those I won't let go of either.)
I did! And I got it! I can understand the first edits and the last one, but agree with you that the part about Rosalund not getting the credit needs to stay in. That is an important part of the story and the world.

Gewd! Because yes - it's not a happy ending, but it's not happy for a reason; things will happen in the book, sure, but in the story, sometimes in life things are not happy despite ending, and I'd like to show that. (Heck, I don't even know how much things will change in the book, but i know this: this ficbit will be canon.)

Aw maaaan. See, and it's all good stuff that's been happening, sure - celebration of my publishment, watching Robin Hood: Men In Tights ("Unlike some Robin Hoods, I can speak with an English accent!"), lots of Chineseing and tutoring, Karaoke (Ka-La-OK!), studying, more studying, skypes, etc - but it leaves my schedule full.
So I'm slowly sorting things out. I'm disgusted at my room, thoguh. It keeps almost getting clean, and then attracting mess again. I swear I have no idea how this happens.
