Btw, I saw your other filtered post with the link in my Google feed, but I'm not authorised to see it on LJ. So I guess either you changed the filter after posting, or LJ's selective filters don't work with the RSS feed (using FreeMyFeed to view friend's locked entries to which I [should] have permission). Hmm - I should bear that in mind for my own selective filter posts (i.e. all of them)!
I switched the filter after posting (since I didn't want my name on a publicly-readable post) but if it still shows up on your RSS ... well, I don't know what to do about that. What is FreeMyFeed?
FreeMyFeed is a service that allows you to read blog entries which are password protected to which you have access. Regular RSS feeds, at least in Google Reader, don't work with authentication. It's something people have been complaining to Google about for some time, because it can be done.
So I mostly read my friends list through Google Reader these days (because it's not blocked at work!) and most of the entries are locked. Hence the need for FreeMyFeed.
Also, your changing the filter after posting explains why I still saw it - it was briefly accessible, so the reader pulled it straight over before it was changed.
