I took last Thursday off to make try and make sure I was as fit as possible for a hospital appointment on Friday. And then it snowed, and snowed and froze and snowed. Normally, once you hit the main roads, the mass of cars has eroded all the ice, but not Friday. In fact, going up a local hill to minimize dangerous roads later on, I ended up ( Read more... )

Sorry, Sharon. While I'm glad I am reaching out to people, I barely have enough time to keeps in touch with my existing friends and contacts. If you create a LiveJournal account, there is a CF community on here which is largely US-based. I can also recommend the British CF Trust forums at http://www.cftrust.org.uk/forum/ (although it's been a while since I had a time to lurk there either).

There are lots of friendly people out there, but I'm too busy to be much use I'm afraid.
