#16 - icon really doesn't fit the them, the negative space is filled with text. The choice of text also doesn't fit the icon, which is very blurry.
#09 - the background colour does not compliment the subjects colours, the text also looks a bit odd and low + could've been left off.
#13 - the icon is underexposed + the colours lack lustre, a curves layer really would make the subject pop out from the background.

FAVORITE
#06 - creative use of space + great use of colour
#18 - beautiful + vibrant colours, the corners really make the icon look "finished"

#02 - the icon is too dark; it's hard to see the subject (even though it's in bright colours) or if there's any other character in the icon; the text should be brighter because to stand out or at least to be readable;
#16 - even though I like the idea of the text, it is completely out of place; also, I don't see negative space, the blurry background and the text overpowers the icon therefore there isn't negative space;
#07 - the coloring makes the image look grainy, also, her skin looks unnatural and weird because of the colouring; the icon would look better with another texture as a background;

FAVORITE
#04 - really simple icon with excelent use of negative space;
#05 - nice colouring and well placed text;

#12 - the contrast is really low and it makes it difficult to discern keira's features.
#02 - there's a balance between how small the subject is and how recognizable the subject is based on that size. i can barely make out the suject, and the head in the lower middle is confusing.
#16 - the text is too conspicuous and the coloring is lacking a teeny tiny bit too dull/dark.

FAVORITE
#05 - absolutely gorgeous coloring. the text is fitting, and the overall clarity is outstanding.
#06 - good coloring and depth. interesting to use the negative space below the character rather than above, like almost all the other icons.

#02 - this is very dark and pixelated, there's no real way of knowing what's happening in the icon or who the people are.
#12 - very flat colouring, with little actual black and white parts, it needs to be brightened and then contrasted to bring depth to the icon.
#22 - too pixelated. and the boy's face is lined in red due to abusing the selective colouring a bit too much (i'm just amusing that's what you've done to get that effect).

FAVORITE
#18 - ah! the blue(s) is so blue and gorgeous, everything else is great too, the rounded edges and the cropping, but god, that blue(s)...
#20 - great pic choice, the colouring is lovely and soft, great texture use too.
