This AU setting is really fun! The part when they both desperately pretend they're not working on porn made me laugh so hard!
And Percy as the boyfriend, I didn't expect that, but it seems quite intriguing.

I was waiting to find out just who this annoying boyfriend of Merlin's was - interesting that it's Percy! I like the slow but affectionate development of the A/M relationship, combined with Arthur's ditto correspondence with "Lake" - not to mention the porny stuff Arthur is editing. Heh. I'm enjoying this fic thoroughly, hope to see more soon!

I love Leon in this. He's a great friend and his teasing is delightful. Merlin and Arthur's relationship also continues to delight me. I adore Arthur for being so scathing about the shit boyfriend and mentally preparing to defend Merlin's honor. This Percival bloke better watch out! Well, knowing what Percival looks like, I bet Arthur will think twice about being openly insulting. Maybe. I can't wait to find out.

Lake's overwrought, insanely improbable porn being the product of sweet, funny Merlin's brain is hysterical and the image of Arthur slaving away editing spanking scenes is hilarious. These two men and their unlikely parallel friendships makes for a great read. The fact that Merlin is actually writing a romance novel this time around speaks to the growing feelings between these two. I'm looking forward to more hugs and more chapters and more dreams featuring Merlin in states of undress.
