Suga Shikao's songs are always awesome <3 However, the animation sequence doesn't fit as greatly as the first season's op sequence; 19sai was synched to the rythm and beat...
On another note, I loved this episode (I haven't read the any further than the chapters which cover the first season), I'd never expected that they'd put in so much just in the first episode... I've heard that the Spider Lady arc is pretty awesome, especially for Doumeki x Watanuki shippers thus I'm totally looking forward to more.
xxxHOLIC Kei has been my most anticipated series of the season and I'm sure I'll enjoy every single episode, despite the fact that the animation's probably going to be inconsistent (err... remember the first season ^^;) and that it DOES NOT premier in 16:9 D:
