it IS gorgeous. OH! And I love that you already know in your head that they are going to open a jewelry place together! hee. Even if you never write it, the fact that it's there is what sets you above other writers. Because these characters are alive in your head. Not just for the duration of the story. I like the idea of Sirius coming out to James first in ACOC. I'm trying to remember who I told first about my own same sex leaning feelings. I think I spoke about it with a good friend online BEFORE I ever confronted the object of my affection - convinced it was all one sided and she was straight and would never return my feelings. Heh, this is why I have a special place in my heart for the angsty pups each thinking the other won't want them. :P I LOVE Remus's character in this story though...I think you are absolutely right that this is how an unbroken Remus would be.

They do sort of take on a life of their own. That's what comes of giving them so much headspace for the past seven years, I suppose. I can't stop them. Bunnies, bunnies. Remus is still insisting on being a little bit broken, but heartbreak is a normal sort of brokenness, and there's more scope for recovery than being, say, a werewolf.
