This was perfect. So perfect and exactly what I needed today.
I loved this so much & it was so worth the wait :)

You're actually one of my favourite writers :) This is possibly one of the best AUs ever :)

oh hon, thank you so much!

I'm glad you enjoyed it and I could make you feel a little better!

You know, after the epilogue of 24 Frames Per Second I just knew I had to write how it happened that they broke up and got together again...

I am so happy now, beyond anything!
This was perfect. So perfect. Anything I could have hoped for!
I am so glad things happened like this and I wasn't expecting all the great, steamy sex. Hehe. Super lovely.

“I love you so much I want your fucking babies,” Gerard replied. “I mean, little fat dogs.” <- BEST!

Thank you so much for this sequel. I am happy, happy, happy!

oh honey, thank you so much!

I absolutely needed to write all the steamy sex, because there was a scene from "24FPS-1984" that got cut and featured a first time. My girlfriend was like - nooooooooo-oooo, I'm pretty sure they're not having anal sex, it doesn't work, make it something else. She was right, of course, but I felt kind of sad about that.

And in this fic, it was even better, because they've had sex a hundred times before, they absolutely know what the other wants and needs and what turns them on and gets them off and it was great writing that. there's no holding back and no embarrassement about it. I liked the scene in Gerard's childhood room at home especially, because you can see how long they've known each other - there's no need for a long-planned seduction, it's like - hey, I wanna!, come on, and it just works and is fun.

ugh. I'm talking too much this morning. Sorry!

*beams*

thank you soooo much!

writing that one line, where Frank says "I thought you loved me enough" was so hard. Hurt like hell, too. At first I wasn't sure how to go on after dropping such a bomb on Gerard, because... ouch. But Frank, when he realizes what the hell he said and how this affects Gerard (who's just sitting there, blinking and looking utterly destroyed) is so devastated because he just can't believe he hurt the person he loves so much. I felt like it was a nice emotional break in their fight, and then it comes back later, and Gerard spits it out again "And how can you think I didn't love you enough? How?", because it's not okay, he's still thinking about those words and how much they hurt.

glad you enjoyed it!

yeah, everybody is a traitor. their friends love them and they loved them as a couple and hated it when they were apart, because Gerard at least wasn't in the best place those years. (He totally tried to make it work with 1 or 2 other people, but yeah, they weren't Frank, so... he failed. Guess that was awful to watch for his friends and family, too.)

So, when Frank comes back, everybody's like... "We gotta protect him from Frank! - I mean, he's just OVER him and it took long enough!"

But I guess Mikey at least had a couple of talks with the both of them in which they both moaned about how much they missed the other... poor Mikey, actually. ;-)

Ooooh, this was SUCH a great, great follow-up to 24 Frames. I always wanted to know how Frank and Gerard got back together, and this was just perfect. Sweet and warm and lovely.

:-) thanks!

I kind of felt like I owed it to Gerard and Frank, but also the readers. It was great fun revisiting them a couple of years down the line, see what kind of people they had become, imagining what kind of relationship they would lead.
