I love that this is an aliens-made-them-do-it set right here at home. A reminder that there are still wonders to explore on Earth -- it goes perfectly with the idea that Jack and Daniel didn't have to look much farther than their own front door ... what they've needed has been right next to them all the time. Sweet.

Everyone should write an alien's made 'em, right? *g*

You're so right. There is still so many things we don't understand here on our own planet, and I really like the idea of them finding each other so close to home. Plus, I got to use The Light! *g* I'm glad you enjoyed it! :-)

I really liked the idea of there being a Goa'uld in the Native American culture. It's something that hasn't been explored much.

The well written part is completely due to my betas. LOL

Aw, I just love "aliens made them do it"!!! And this was a fabulous one, warm and intimate, and they're so loving with each other...::happy sigh::

I do love how their affection shines through, and the way they know they know each other so well. And snow suddenly seems very romantic--I love the way it's featured here, like a protecting blanket closing in all around them. Lovely fic!

I adore 'alien's made 'em', too! It's by far my favorite. *g* I'm glad their friendship came through. It's what got them through it. I watch the show and it hits me how *easy* they are with each other, and I wanted to convey that.

I didn't think about the snow being romantic, but it is, isn't it? :-)

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

And thanks for adding the tag for me. ::blows kiss::

That's a wonderful story!

I like the beginning when it is really an archaeological trip for Daniel, finding out something about the Goa'uld on earth. The way you describe Mesa Verde and the kivas there - it brings back holiday memories! Although I never found such an interesting kiva like you describe! *g*

For once the Goa'uld are even "helpful".

It's very nice to read about this first lovemaking(s) under the influence of the light and then that overwhelming feeling that they must be together. You describe very well how they first see only the advantages - to be finally able to do something they wanted to do already for a long time.

But then Jack doesn't want it to be more than an alien influence and you made me really nervous there! I somehow feared he would be too stubborn, too "noble", to accept his deeper feelings for Daniel.

So I'm very happy that he changed his mind in the end!

Thanks for this lovely story!

I'm glad you liked the story!

I've always felt that Mesa Verde was a magical kind of place, but no, I didn't see a kiva like that there, either *g* But I can see Daniel getting excited about something like that, excited about doing his archeology thing.

I wanted them to *want* what was happening, use it to their advantage. I'm glad that came across! It was the excuse they needed to get together.

Glad Sorry I made you nervous! *g* This was a bit more ansgty than I usually write. I was nervous myself! It took me a while to figure a way out of it. :-)

Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed it!
