Congrats on your new shed! What fun it sounds like, farming your allotment. :D I'm too lazy for gardening myself (even if I had a place) and when I did have a place to garden, I was very unsuccessful. The accidental acorn squashes that grew from where I tossed out the leavings of my old rat cage were far superior to anything I managed to grow intentionally.

We're mostly unsuccessful, but we try growing lots and lots of things, so that there'll still be a reasonable amount of success in amongst all the failures.

Luckily the kind of vandalism we get at our allotment is mostly of the order or smashing greenhouse glass, or dumping small amounts of rubbish there (this time we found a plastic bottle and a pair of woollen socks...), and not so much with the stealing of food.
