Deathly Hallows poster courtesy of ohnotheydidnt. It kinda tears me up inside. When the seventh book came out, effectively ending the series, I consoled myself with the fact that there were still movies to be made. But now we're coming up on the end. For good. Can't say that I'm ready to say goodbye to the characters and the amazing world Rowling constructed.

Oh, I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way about Harry Potter. Definitely not ready to say good-bye to the characters, and I felt so ... empty... when people were finished reading the seventh book. But there's still fanfic to be written.

I don't think you have to claim a pairing. In fact I think you can write different pairings and fandoms for the different prompts. But if you do that pairing I will squee forever.

Very true about the fanfic. Potter fandom has some of the absolute best writers out there, too, so we're quite spoiled in that area. :)

Eee, I will. For a long time now I've been trying to write these serious post-game 'trying to pick up the pieces of their lives' fics and it gets me so down. After all the hell they went through, they deserve some happy 'n cute times.
