When I got my Droid, all the pictures from my RAZR were transferred over, which meant I could upload them to my computer. Some of them dating all the way back to 2006. Thought I'd share them here. They bring back a lot of memories, good and not so good.
Christmas 2006. Dinner at Applebee's with Shawn and Yoshihei. One of the last major holidays she and I spent together.
It's been two years since our friendship dissolved, and since then I've had a lot of time to think about it. The things she did and said were often out of line, and after getting married she turned into a huge brat, but I can't shut out all the great times we had before everything changed. We were really tight in high school. A bond like that isn't easily broken or forgotten when you're a teenage girl, and when I'm browsing Facebook I often wonder if I should send her a message or give her a call to catch up. Don't know how well received it'd be, but it might be worth the effort to tell her how I felt and get her side of the story, too.

Artemis. Uncle Keith gave him to us and he was so precious and affectionate. I could hold him like a baby and he'd fall asleep in my arms. Eventually Keith wanted him back. Not long after we handed him over, Artemis ran away and hasn't been heard from since.

I don't know what to say or even how to feel about this one. Guys, meet Shadow. My first real cat and the only one I raised from kittenhood. She became diabetic later in life and finally became so ill that she would just lay by the water bowl for hours. This is the very last photo taken of her before she died and I miss her to this day. I've still got her collar, even.
