Announcement: Possible Friend-locking?

Hi guys~ No chapters for today *juggling a little between uni admission portfolio and fanfic writing*
But instead, I'll like your opinion on something that has been on my mind for quite some time- friend-locking my posts.

me, my self, when i'm bored, i do searching in google for sakumiya ff. always, a

and i havent graduated from shoneen club or even arashirabu.

then, we, i believe in this Arashi fandom, would not doing re upload, re streaming, or make it our others project own.

so, ff, i always treat as like other fansub rules.
no streaming, re uploading etc.

I personally do not really want to friend-lock my posts as well. It'd be great if people are able to access my works, ne?

Maybe I'll just edit the masterpost and address this issue there. XD

Ahhh yes yes I can relate to that sometimes when I Google for them online too! *nod nod*

Basically it sort of bothered and worried me a little that fanfictions are being used as material for other productions without the author's approval. I've already seen one livejournal fanfic writer friend-locking her journal because of EYK (Eat Your Kimchi) had sort of started asking people for links to their fanfictions.

I'm unsure if this is happening in Jpop fandom (like I said, I'm being a little paranoid), so I was just wondering if I should friend-lock it for good measure.

I'm a little lazy to friend-lock the whole journal myself and do the necessary posts to explain why and blah blah blah (heheh XD ) , so I will do so only if I see that the need arises. XD

From their latest tweets it seems that they'll be using the fanfictions for videos.. I'm not so clear myself how exactly they're going to use the fanfictions but it does not really sit well with me anyhow. XD

But I agree that after our subbed-videos-wipeout-fiasco these last few years none of us would want to be so careless, ne?

Welp, the climate in JE fandom seems rather stable now even amidst the deleted videos and friend-locked journals, so hopefully it stays as peaceful. *fingers crossed too*

Personally, I think you shouldn't. I thought about it too and frankly, put aside the idea immediately. I write to share, to meet arashi's friends and I think that the best way is to give people a free access. I don't want to lock my work, because, and it's a personal feeling, I want to trust people thus they can trust me.
Or perhaps is it just my Aiba-side @-@
