Liberty Idol was awesome!
Major props to Brett McMahon for doing such a great job and for making it into the top five with "Run, Freedom, Run" (accompanied by me). Price Troche sung again as last year's Liberty Idol '05 with a Maroon 5 medley: "This Love" | "Sunday Morning" | "Harder To Breathe". I also finally met justdominic at the Varsity basketball game tonight.
My Australian friend told me that varsity is university. Is it a university in America too?

Oh, well, contrary to what you may hear, "Varsity" is just a term for the highest level of athletic play in a particular sport, for a particular school/league/association, etc. We have (at my high school, grades 9-12), Varsity football, cheerleading, wrestling, basketball, track, soccer, etc. All those sports also have "JV"--Junior Varsity, and most of them have a "Frosh" division, for the freshmen.

Yeah, something like that. I'm a little confused why the definition doesn't mention ANYTHING about high school teams, though, because that's what Varsity also accounts for.

There are university Varsity teams, for colleges and such, but also for high school. It just means the highest rank of athletic talent for that particular sport :).

It was cool meeting you!
The game was crazy intense after you left. They kept tying and then there were a bunch of fouls, it was ridiculousssssss. the score was like 41 43 I think, and Freedom lost. But it was SO close.
I'm sorry about making you wait so long!! But I'm glad you made it to Idol on time.
Brenna and I looked for the PAC but had no idea where it was.

It's all right, I wasn't late or anything--it was worth it.
Heh, the PAC is the building closest do BK/Safeway. I WAS going to call during intermission but there was so many people to see/talk to, and besides I thought you may have gone home already. But yeah, let's hang out another time! I'll bring my camera too.
