Have you ever awaken from a dream, and found yourself utterly confused at discovering you weren't really living? Have you ever experienced something real, and thought you were only dreaming?

Yes, but it is not a matter of deciding for oneself. It is merely the feeling of doing one or the other before one perceives the truth.
