Yeah, alive and happy

I found out that my instructor has to work his article ready this week so he has been (and will be) busy with it. [I'm pretty thankfull of the minutes he can spare to me

Oh, you'll be a busy bee? Hopefully it will be the positive kind of busy :3

I'll have my hands full of the measurements during the first 30 minutes of the combustion. It's a real buzz then. After about 50 minutes I can turn the oven off (and leave it to cool down for about 3 hours) and continue with the gas chromatography for some more 20-30 minutes. Around noon I'll start to dry the catalyst (I have to use liquid nitrogen, ~ -200 C, scary) as I'm done with that (maybe an hour) the oven should be cool so I can start with the second combustion x_X That takes again about 2 hours as I'm not that good at it yet, I haven't routined yet. So I'll be done around 4.
I'm kind of ecstatic about this again :D Monday was just a bad day :P

Liquid nitrogen... I would be really scared to use that. Oh boy.
Well, as long as it is a work that you love everything's okay :3

We postponed that part till tomorrow, so we'll get all of the stuff to react that way. It frightens me, I've never done anything with liquid itrogen myself.. But I'm sure it'll be okay.
I thought it would be boring after I start to make the combustions, as it's rather routine like stuff, but there are things to notice and to memorize. My favorite lab stuff possibly :D [and I'm babbling again XD]

Toinen poltto meni hyvin, tein sen ihan ite! Paitsi yhtä hiton näyteputkea en saa paikoilleen, niin pitää aina ohjaajaa pyytää.. [noloa, hyvin noloa] Lasivilla vaan on tosi raivostuttavaa! Käsiä pistelee vaikka käyttää hanskoja ja työtakki on päällä koko ajan.
