Well there's a new version of Physm available at the website (www.physm.tk) though there are not a lot of changes since the last version (I don't think...) I fixed some memory leaks, so it may be worth it, if you ever actually run the program *shrug ( Read more... )

Add to 'file' menu: Restart and Help.
Color maybe.
Different screen size options.
Skills? *scratches chin* Not quite yet, eh? How would they fit in? What would they do? Maybe after more other stuff is done there will be a way to use them... (Ideas: combat (offensive/defensive separated?), healing, stealth, what else? Technical? o.O)

Shit, I almost got first post, but you beat me to your own post... BASTARD!

Character classes. Wildly branching, diverse character classes with compoundable abilities.

Verdict on idea: Stolen! By me!
Muaha XD

Where in importance does the rest of the list stand with you?

Problems I notice in the game:
- comma at the beginning of item list at Apple Pile on first message
- (0) after monster names in room descriptions
- room descriptions going off edge of window
- no space between monster name and attack description in battle message

Suggestions:
- in room description change display of multiple items from "itemname(number)" to "itemplname"
- make N,E,S,W buttons look more like buttons... add change in appearance on mousedown
- add scrollball support to message windows

Questions:
- when there are no items/monsters in a room, should the description say nothing, or "Items/Monsters Here: None"

1. Character classes and statistics
2. Weapons and other equipment
3. Experience for killing creatures, and Leveling
4. Combineable and healing items
5. The ability to save and load your game
6. More in-depth room descriptions
7. Conversational NPC's

I shall come up with more soon.

So, just so I'm completely sure, you put those in order of importance for you, right?

Hurray for comments! *grin*

Seems like everybody (which means, the three people that I've actually been able to force to answer this :p) wants classes and stats!

Heh, the thing is... at it stands, having a different class or different stats and things isn't really going to make much of a difference as the game currently stands! Oh well, if that's what people want, it's what I'll get working on, and try to figure something out :p

What is your order of preference for the rest of the items in the list?
