It's only Monday and technically it is still winter here but today it was really sunny out and 70 degrees. Definitely not seasonal weather. Tomorrow it is going to be 74 degrees out. I think I will break out the shorts and t-shirts and flip flops. Why not?

Mishaps at work today. A faculty member missed my committee meeting and messed my project up.

No excuses for the guy but time has moved so strangely this past year I can almost understand forgetting a meeting that's not going to have direct personal impact... I mean, can you believe it's almost March?? But yeah, irritating all round.

I guess one can relax a bit twenty-eight days after the second jab? And hope nothing else odd comes along. Now they're talking about long term ill effects from sanitiser --- you can't escape it here, I went in one of the shopping centres today and needed my hands sprayed six times. There is always something!

We got the work done in the second meeting and it was all fine. His email was so apologetic - I felt for him. He is not teaching so he was not on his calendar like the rest of us.

Here you have to hand sanitize in every store too - so doing that multiple times when I run errands and I carry my own too. I am sure we will be doing this for a while yet.
