Really sad news

So I got really sad news about my cat, Teddy. I had to take him into the emergency vet last night - he was experiencing labored breathing and it turned out he had fluid surrounding his lungs. The vet told me right off that this was very bad news and that any number of bad conditions could be causing this. She drained the fluid and based on how the

What a lovely picture of him! I agree with not putting him through a bunch of tests that would be unpleasant for him and just tell you what the vet diagnosed with a touch more detail. The only good thing about the plague is it means you can be home and give him all the love. Am so, so sorry Jaen, that waiting thing is dreadful *hugs*

I just could not do it and the vet said it would not change the outcome so why do that to do the poor kitty. Making him comfortable seems like the best thing and monitoring him so I know when to take him in. I am glad I am home and can keep a good eye on him. Thanks, ekliss. Appreciate your comment.
