I have not started my Slashy Valentine. Not exactly freaking out but not feeling good about that either. I have a lot of research to do as I have characters that I am not familiar with at all. Augh! Totally out of my depth. I do like the challenge aspect of the challenge thing so that is good. I like to write out of my element. This is very outside ( Read more... )

Oh, I saw Emma Watson's book group and thought it looked interesting. I may have to join.

And good luck with MSV - I haven't started yet, and I have no plot or firm ideas or even which characters I am going to write about. :( Why do we do this to ourselves...

I am excited about the book group. I have not done much reading of feminist stuff so looking forward to that. The group is on good reads and I am really enjoying the Gloria Steinem book - that is a good one to pick to start with. So I hope you join!

It is some sort of collective masochism that we like to do. :P I am actually looking forward to writing my story. I got some research done last night and it will not be that bad. I am just being overly dramatic. It will all work out in the end - it always does!

I haven't a clue about MSV. Currently in denial. You can always come sound out ideas here if you think I can help at all.

You heard Gloria Steinen speak? That is such a cool memory.

You need to post more - how about that as a 2016 goal? If more people did that, this place would get some of its old energy back.

I should post more. I could work on that in 2016. I will shoot for once a week and go from there. I like posting. :) good idea.

Gloria Steinem was amazing as out commencement speaker. I will always remember that.

I will take you up on your offer of sounding out ideas. I just need to read up a little more on things before I can even do that. If you know what I mean. You always help clarify things. Let me know if I can help with yours too. Happy to return the favor.
