At the very least, it shows a lack of concern on the part of the admins as to what they endorse, either directly or indirectly. And as you say, it's irresponsible, given the target age of their audience. I don't use the graphics on the site, but I'm in total agreement with you. Unfortunately, this is one of the prices we pay for freedom of speech - we have to be exposed to the bigoted, homophobic morons too. Although, this might be covered under discriminatory speech...

Possibly. I think if they get enough irate email they will take it down. You make very good points.

I feel better having said my piece to them. In some way they are accountable for what they are putting out there. Even if it is only one irate slasher...

I've never been on the site before so it would be hypocritcal of me to threaten to boycot it, otherwise I would do so. Anyone who has been there more than once and who finds this offensive should definitely speak out. It won't change prejudice, sadly, but if there are enough objections it will make people a little less free and eager to express their ugliness publicly.

We have laws about stuff like that here, working on the principle that freedom of speech ends where prejudice and hatred begin.

Makes sense.

I had been on a few times and never looked at the text messages, only the pictures. This time I looked through them all.

Gah!
