Organizing my thoughts, again.

I think most of my creativity has fallen into a bit of rut recently. Can't seem to get in the mood to get back to this silly idea I seem to like about two mischievous deities who meet and go into a feudal sort of conflict. Well, that's one part of my idea. The other part involves characters from video games I've been bouncing around with ( Read more... )

I wish Pierce would come down our way once in a while - he's fun. I do get what he means about playing the same game a lot, as I could VERY easily form a group JUST to play Cosmic Encounter every week (like him, I've been playing it for years and never get tired of it).

We're lucky we keep getting new people through meetup.com (more this week, from what I see). I also kind of wish we were more willing to break up into smaller groups. We could play a lot more different games that way, as our choices of games over 6 players is really limited. With Danny coming tomorrow, though, I think we're going to have to break up since I know he'll want to play Soaps and that's only 4-5 players I think. (And since no one else can, I suppose I'll be driving him back to the metro afterwards, but that's ok.)

If you start a gaming group, I may just have to come up and finally see the store. :)

Yeah, he is fun. I know I heard him say about getting together once in a while for gaming later (now Mom and I know where he lives, in which isn't very far from the church) but I'm not sure if he's sure about that. :/

Yeah it's great there's new people coming. I'm looking forward to the two newcomers tomorrow! Breaking up into smaller groups would be fine. It's all good. So, I guess my mom and I might have to bring over Forbidden Island (in which never ends up going the same way, that's part of what I love about that game) and Chaos (in which can play up to 6).

Oh great! 8D I'm still in the thinking about it stage though, but I'll be sure to let you know once I've decided, and will also have to run it by mom to encourage her to join partner up with me. I just might have to bring this up tomorrow night. So, you think Noon to 5PM on Saturdays over there would be okay?

Pick whatever time suits you, and see who comes and who doesn't. I wouldn't be able to make it often, but I'd make an effort if there were people. Where exactly is the store, anyway?

*nod* I'll see about joining boardgamegeek and finding a community on Livejournal that's got boardgamers.

http://www.chesapeakemarketplace.com/ <- There's driving directions on that site. My bookstore is a small house structure in the back parking lot (the Cottage), located behind the mostly white main building and the auction house.

I hate falling into blocks. Right now I have my creative energy pretty evenly spread out through all the stuff that I do. Oh excellent. Thanks. I'm glad you're enjoying them so much. Please let me know when you finish listening to them all. I'll check out that ISFJ thing shortly. Did you see I had put up a video of me and Chris playing guitars? It was a temporary thing and took it down so I hope you didn't miss it. My Rage machine is in the background. I don't remember if I gave you links to ISFJ descriptions. I posted all the types on my journal. So here's what I said along with a few ( ... )

I'm sure if I just keep at it and not try too hard, this current rut will be brief.

I will be sure to let you know! Today I finished recording my video challenge thing on answering the 13 questions but I'll put up all 3 parts up on my YouTube account later.

Thanks for the links. I'll have a look at those soon. I remember looking through the different type descriptions before, and I'll have to look again.

Ohhh fun, yeah I'm sure that will take a while. I know it would for me!
