I think that This article has a very interesting take on how the world views Obama's election.

It also makes me wonder if the expectations of the world have just been driven to dizzying heights that one man could never fulfill. Hmm. I hope the people of the world don't get really ddisillusioned when change doesn't happen/happen over night.
