The office smells. It smells of burning plastic. It has given me a killer headache over a ten minute period. I can't focus, I think they're trying to kill me. Or all of us.

Either that, or Vinay is burning a goat.

I had something witty and clever to say, and now it's gone.

A woman at my job and her girlfriend are adopting a baby. They go to get it tomorrow. I guess it's a "he" not an "it." It's very exciting and a sign, that on even the smallest level, things are getting better.

We have nothing to do at work. Again. On one level, it sucks. On another level, I love it. It allows me time to catch up on the writing I should be doing. For NaNoWrMo I should be at roughly 17,000 words. I, meanwhile, am at a measely 2100. That's a lot of catching up to do. But if I had to do something yesterday, I'd still be at zero.
