I was just thinking about you! You said in a recent post that you downloaded Skype. Can you tell me what you think of it? Have you had a chance to use it? Cost in American money? I am trying to understand it via the website but I feel like I am missing a very important concept or else a feeling of "it's too good to be true" like they aren't going to tell me something until after I have paid that makes it unusalbe for me. For instance, do I have to have a high speed connection or can it be dial up? I couldn't find anything pertaining to this or else I skimmed right past it.
It's pretty and easy to install. No one's called me yet though so I can't tell you how well it works. I'm almost sure that it's not even worth trying if you don't have a DSL or cable connection to the internet. Even then, I'm expecting there to be a 'lag'. I'll get back to you if / when I actually have a conversation with someone.

Free. In any money. Calls from compie to compie are also free. It only costs if you call compie to regular phone or vice versa.

I used Skype for the first time this afternoon. I called my Mom. It's about like the phone really, maybe the sound is not quite as good. It's better than a typical cell phone though.

For the record, we both have ADSL.
Cheers!
