i dunno, if there's any class you could continue with after this semester that you want to continue, like spanish and things, i guess go with that. actually, if you want to keep taking spanish, it might be easier to take it now so you forget less.
okay, well you know i've got to put my vote in for english.
BUT.
i also kind of think that since you're gonna be so bogged down with science/math (read: legitimate work), you should take a course that'll go a little easier on you. maybe spanish would be that class? just go for something that genuinely interests you, but at the same time, something that won't completely wear you down. if you feel like you're going to be writing essays every week with an english course, don't do it. just keep in mind that you've got four years, eight semesters, to choose electives for. you're bound to take care of all of your interests at some point or another :) i guess it's just a matter of prioritizing?
anyway. you'll figure it out, and you'll feel really relieved when you do. but good luck . . . i know it'll work out for you whichever way you go.
