Wow, that`s fantastic. I`m just sitting here amazed that you turned my simple prompt into this compelling character study. The seed of addiction was planted in Sam before he could walk... So tragic. But it can`t be all bad if there`s protective!Dean in the end! typo: It should be Esau in the title

Awesome fi! I loved the angst at the end, at Sam's horror of the extent of his manipulation. Also, Dean was wonderful in his comfort of Sam.

Fantastic fic! I love how it illustrated how the blood affected Sam all his life, not just those final two years.
