Ummmmm... This person is STUPID.
It's talking about it from the rabbit's perspective, not from a Human one!

In the animal world it's all about procreating, not liberating. Dork.

Well, to give her some slack, while told from a rabbit's perspective, the book is very much a metaphor or model or whatnot of the typical (human) Hero's Journey. It even quotes from Joseph Campbell's "The Hero With a Thousand Faces" at the start of chapter 26!

But if she was getting all that from the book, she should also have not gotten sidetracked on some pathetic gender issue that has nothing to do with the point of the story. grr..
