rejected! again! for the 10,000th time! after a year of job hunting!

I definitely got my hopes up about this one.  I took a few days off work (which means two days without pay) all to get my hopes up for NOTHING.  I'm not going to lie--this sucks ( Read more... )

Keep trying, Claire. Something will happen. Maybe it won't be something you've imagined, but it will be something that's right. Meanwhile, there's nothing wrong with temping, esp. when you're less than a year out of college.

But if feel like punching pillows and watching brainless movies, go ahead!

I spent two 3-month periods of my life so far totally unemployed. It was hectic. I got quite depressed. This was with a 4 year honours degree. At the end of the first period I enrolled in a technical college and studied Fitness, and started doing a lot of exercise, which helped a lot. After the second period I got a job in a take-away for a year. None of these things really has much to do with my education or skills.

I guess I'm just saying this to let you know that yeah, unemployment is pretty hard, and sometimes the reason God is allowing it is not clear at all. It *does* suck, but keep the faith.
