saw the movie recently, decided to post my thoughts (actually i wrote a review of it for one of the newspapers here and it got published - yay! - and i thought i'd share!) any and all thoughts & ramblings welcome! :)

Great review. I really like it. Music and lyrics was a cooool movie.
The last movie i saw was 300, and Ghost Rider. I really liked 300.

Thanks! i've heard a lot about 300 and have definitely been meaning to check it out. I've only see clips but i love the way its shot, it really does look like a graphic novel!

what did you think of Ghost Rider? i hear its only worth watching if one is a Nicolas Cage fan otherwise its not that great.....

Thank for sharing it. I love Hugh Grant, but i didn't go to see this movie yet because i'll be waiting to buy it on dvd. Anyway, i can't wait. :)

even if you don’t like pop music the songs have a tendency to crawl inside your head and refuse to leave.
god that is SO true. It’s annoying lol!

The movie’s only redeeming factor is that it knows it’s a big hunk of cheese and it doesn’t pretend to be otherwise.
this is such a brilliant line. I love it.

yay! i have a fan! lol! i definitely want to write more, this was so fun to do. i've been meaning to watch something new to write a review on but just haven't found the time :( but maybe this weekend...*fingers crossed* actually i wrote one on 300 but maybe it wasn't that good or because there are so many new summer movies coming out they were probably not so interested in something a bit old but i haven't heard from them on that yet. i guess i could post it on my journal though......wouldn't want to deprive my fan ;)

i'm totally with you on Harry Potter and Stardust! that movie def looks like something i would want to watch.

btw if it takes me a while to get back to you on your comments its cause my internet keeps spazzing out....again! *roll of eyes* so i have to come online at work. speaking of which i should get back to it otherwise, yikes!

Finally, i was able to watch it and...omg, Hugh has an amazing voice! I love it. My mother always loved him as much as i do and when he cames out with his music video at the beginning, i think it was priceless. Very nice movie, by the way. :)

the music video in the beginning was hilarious!!! lol! Hugh was great in the movie, i don't think anyone else could have played that part as well as him!
