Have you seen tumblr.com? I use it kind of as a scrapbook for posting photos I like and things like that, because it's really easy and the site looks great. They have a little button that you can drag to your toolbar, so when you are on a flickr page or image or video or ANYTHING that you like, you just click the button and it will put it on your tumblr blog for you! I just thought I'd mention it cause it might be easier than lj.
