the student work sample dilemma

Suggestions appreciated.

My job seems to not have a lot of people able or willing to think through logistics. So help me so I can help them and that will help me. See? :)

Where are these things stored, ultimately? Database(s)? Is it stored into...a file system? If it's all on the same server or even the same network, you should be able to get someone (like your sysadmin, or if all else fails your husband) to write up a nice little script that gets run, say, every week. You could have it do whatever works best for your situation: email the teachers samples for all their students; save student samples into a shared directory and the teachers just look in it for their students; whatever.

Ah, great question. An important point I should have included.

These work samples need to be printed, organized, I have to sign them (date, etc), and they end up in a nice paper file by student name so the state can come audit the school.
