I wonder if he understands what yeast is.

Or maybe what happened in his life this week.

Yeah, he knew. We also discussed black holes, the space-time continuum, and how funny the E=mc{spongebob squarepants} sticker on the wall was. Of all of that, he was most perplexed by the "joke" because the equation is just wrong-- there was no 2. He's not your average 1st grader.

Yeah, totally. There are others who are less obvious but there are some sharp kids. Some are not though, which means I have to find a way to keep them all happy and occupied, but its still good.
