I think it's good in composition, but the washed out/lightened effect takes away from it a bit. Maybe if it weren't so much.

i like the first one better. the lighting is more etherial [spelling?] and i like that. plus, the muted colors works well with that outfit. yay!

Each lighting tells something different about the same shot. I like the way the details hint on her sweat shirt on the wash out photo; I'd like to know how you achieved that. And of course, I like the black and white, its more intense to me, more focus on the details around her rather than her clothing.

Did you ask her to pose for that shot or was it a random snap shot that you just thought you'd try?
