My mom swore by that pancake makeup applied over damp skin, and she had lovely skin into her 80s!

I never wear a face, at all ... but have heard others use the phrase.

When we went to my nephews wedding one of my sisters-in-law was putting on her face while we were chatting ... and the whole bed seemed to be full of make-up, not just the few select pieces you have chosen
