Here are our recycling boxes in the garage; paper and glass, plastic and aluminium/foil, and cartons.

Excellent! We recycle all of those, but we're all given one large bin to put them all in together.

Our three boxes go out, and the collectors keep them separate - I guess in the long run it is easier for them to keep three separate compartments in their van to cut down on work later.

We also separate our items, although when they come by for the every-two-weeks pickup, we combine everything into a single large wheeled bin that we take to the curb for pickup. I just find it easier, when gathering the items, to have the separate containers.

Ours goes out in those three boxes and the collecting vehicle is also compartmentalised so there is less sorting to do when they get back to base, I guess.

We are lucky, we just have the one wheelie bin

This makes it much easier for the recycling company - their van is divided up as well. Actually I rather like being able to see how much of each we actually A use, and B recycle.
