Hello! I'm new here :-) I tried to look through my old posts to find something to write about, but I suppose we had just come out of the 2-week mandatory quarantine, so there wasn't much to say at that time.

I think all people and all animals are sentient to some degree but some more than others and I love it when I see a dog that's looking at me or whoever's taking the picture in a way that you can tell they're just really seeing you more than some animals do just the same way sometimes children are even grown up children get your eye and you know you will see each other seeing one another. This is one of those dogs. Just passing through between thoughts but I had to say that or else my brain would be flopping around and it's ganglia for not having said something. 🐾❤️

I really love that compare & contrast of the bridge ... less traffic last year with lockdown.

I am interested in the way some things change - like Bido - he looks like a lovely lad but, yes, he is clearly ageing. And other things are really just as they were before things changed so much with the pandemic, like the bridge itself. It is a very handsome bridge when it is clear to see it in that second picture - which bridge is it if you don't mind me asking?

The bridge is the Sai Van Bridge, the third and most recent bridge built connecting Macau peninsula to Taipa island. I should have taken the new shot at an approximate spot to the 2020 photo but I missed that.
I heard from my Mom a nickname for the bridge, that it’s the “McDonald’s Bridge” because of the M shaped arch.

And Macau! I think of it as the home of the Macau Grand Prix, especially the motorcycle part, as I live on the Isle-of-Man which is the home of the Isle-of-Man TT Races - and the less well know Manx Grand Prix :)
