Last year was a Painted Lady year, but that is fairly rare. his year there have been fewer butterflies in my garden. And mostly they have been the Small White, aka the Cabbage White.

Here is one who was on the buddleia earlier today.

Well caught. I wandered around for 20 minutes the other day and kept failing to photograph a butterfly because it kept hopping off to another flower *g*

I was lucky, because I was able to sit in the same place and wait for one to come to the buddleia.
