Square things

I realised that I didn't have to go far to find, not just one, but a number of square things.

This is the top of the small coffee table after I had friends around;

Those are lovely! I don't know if I own a single coaster.

We have polished wood and glass tables and the coasters do cut down the amount of polishing required! So for a long time we have collected them.

Those are nice. I particularly like the bicycle and the harbour.

The harbour was one of a set of tablemats and coasters that I loved, but eventually they mainly got too tatty and were replaced - but a couple of the coasters are still around. The bicycle one says 'life is a beautiful ride,' and is another of my favourites.

We seem to have acquired quite a few over the years - they do cut down on the need to polish the wooden or glass tables very often :)
