My photo is a family history one - this is a picture of my nan and grandad's wedding.  They got married in 1925, when they were both 23.  What I can't get over is how old everyone looks!  The photograph was taken in the back garden of our old house - I love that they put a rug down for the children to sit on!

What a great photo to have and what a big family.

It is amazing how old even teenagers looked in the days when people went straight from child to adult, isn't it. I was watching a black and white film the other day and a character I had thought was 30 declared himself to be 19 *g*

What a lovely picture - I have both my Grandparents wedding photos from the same era ... but just the wedding party, not the whole selection of guests ... WOW
