Maker Faire

Hey internet friends, Anyone been to the Maker Faire? (particularly the Bay Area one, which I realize limits the number of people this applies to.)

Is it something that can be done in one day, or do you really need both days to grok in fullness?

I felt like I got the full experience of the NY Maker Faire in a day. Maybe there were things I missed seeing but after wandering around through the exhibits and the vendors, and seeing ArcAttack, and buying a couple of things... I was done. Also hot, hungry, and thirsty.

I don't think I'll be going back this year, not because it wasn't awesome, but because much like the auto show I'd like to give it some time to be significantly different the next time I go.

Maaaaaybe.

If you don't dawdle too much. And you don't take too many classes. And you don't talk with too many makers.
