Ain't nothing wrong with picking up hitchhikes, so long as they seem reputable enough!
We once gave a ride to a girl that had hopped trains and hitched from Canada to Florida, with her dog. We live near the expressway and decided to help her get into town where she was meeting her boyfriend who lived on a boat. She had some fun stories to tell, too!
Always makes life a little more interesting, and you feel good for helping someone out. :)
Wishing I can some day visit the LA area... though I don't want to go out to California because I'm afraid I'll like it too much and want to move there. >___>
Eh, I find most people down here are horrible whether they're in a car or not, but that's just my observations. I can't say I'm surprised Candy found Jimmy Choo in thrift stores; reminds me to check out thrift stores close to nice areas.
By the way, don't ask me how I know about Jimmy Choo. '_'
