Oh, the lure of a yummy new yarn. Ah, but I know the cure. I still have one over-closet cupboard that I haven't organized yet. Guess where most of my yarn is?

I feel so... undeveloped as a knitter. Tweed yarns drive me crazy because I feel compelled to pick out all the tweedy bits, as if they're lint or vegetable matter.

Still, it's nice to see Knitpicks offering their yarns in more weights! I'm happy to finally have a bulky cotton-blend yarn, and I'm really enjoying the Simply Cotton yarn too.

do you use lightweight yarns at all? I purchased a bunch of ICE yarn that is a black thread with pink, blue, and purple "tufts" on it... thinking that it would be nice to add to the tribal fusion dance belt that I was building. However, it is too lightweight to hang properly ;( The picture showed lace-like shawls that were made of it.

any interest? it's yours if you want it. lmk
