In the Phoenix: Mother Nature's Wrath.

A friend related stories of seeing red lightning jumping between the clouds. Everyone alive and accounted for? Power back on yet?

In related news, tonight's the last night you can see Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth at the Colonial.

my power was out for 2 days, finally got it back this morning at 2am. I almost simultaneously had a heart attack and fell out of bed because every air conditioner started at the same time on my street. Plus every light in my house turned on at the same time!!!

Yeah, mine came on 2am on Wednesday and woke me up too. What was weird, though, was at the exact moment my aparment sighed back to life my brother sent me a text message. So everything possible was buzzing at that moment.

It was strange, really. Tuesday night, Bridge street between Main and Starr had lights, but Bridge between Main and Gay and possibly beyond was blacked out. North side was powerless as well until about early this morning (or the area where my fiancee lives - near the junkyard), It looked like maybe Reeves Park and north til 1st Ave. had power on Tuesday night, too. Most of East Pikeland is getting power as we speak. They haven't had power since Tuesday, and from what I saw today there's a lot of trees using powerlines as hammocks, so they've still got a way to go.

I'm up by the hospital. The traffic light at 29 / 23 was on the entire time, as was Sal's Pizza Box, but everything else was out. My lights came back on around 2am Tuesday . I swear, I keep missing all the exciting stuff up here.

Dude, at least none of the branches from the trees at your place came crashing down.

I on the other hand had to pick up all those tiny twigs up front (I'm next door to you) and gather 'em around the trees.

Wait, are you in those apartments behind the Dunkin? Can you see my roommate walking around naked during the day? Apparently she went out to get a bucket on our porch yesterday and got locked out.
