Does anyone know what roads are closed/blocked/flooded in Phoenixville? I'm coming from the King of Prussia area and heard that 23 is closed by the dam. Anyone know of any alternate routes to get into town?

I'm checking traffic.com and it says:

"scheduled construction with lane restrictions - from 9:00am until 3:00pm, weekdays through the end of June, for gas main installationscheduled construction with lane restrictions - from 9:00am until 3:00pm, weekdays through the end of June, for gas main installation."

Meanwhile, it's showing that Rt 29 between Buckwalter Rd and Pickering Dam Rd is closed. As is 113 at Township Line Rd. And Bridge at Egypt.

It wasn't that bad, about 50min or so.

Right - (waves hi) - Lij, hubby, just went to work - coming down 23, or..trying to and he said there was detour down "Valley Park Rd" (i think). It's one of the little side roads that comes back out on 23, but later down. So i figure this will be the same way they might make us go.

I'm pondering going down 202, to the 29 (great valley exit) then 29 North til i hit P'ville.

Coming from near the same spot.. that's really annoying to do tho. Perhaps less annoying than a lil side road detour during rush hour tho.

I'm camping out at my parents' in Malvern. I think it's dry there. ... i should check....

I just came home about a half hour ago and went the normal way. When I got to Country Club road, where 23 is closed, I turned left and took it to the traffic light and made a right and it was smooth sailing. Or turn left off 23 at the Valley Forge Post Office.

i think it'll be worse tomorrow. it's not suppose to crest until tonight. (the water will rise because of the tides and all that junk)
