So, slowpoke that I am, I saw Interview with the Vampire for the first time the other night.

It's not a film about vampires, it's a film about two gay men having a very messy breakup.

I blame Anne Rice for Twilight. She cut the balls off vampires. They're no longer scary, just poncy gay posers :(

INDEED IT IS.

I'm currently reading the books. Jesus they are so gay I love them so much.

Armand is amazing, but ignore Antonia Bandaras because although his acting is spot on, Armand is meant to look NOTHING like that.

And the best thing about it is that Anne Rice is a born again Christian fundamentalist. Wonder if she realises all the homosexual undertones? XD

I didn't even recognise it *was* Antonio Bandaras until I saw the end credits! How is Armand supposed to look? I was just pleased he bore a passing resemblance to Alucard from Hellsing, heh.

No, but then they threw in a lovechild caught in the middle and a psychotic ex, so it made it alright in the end :D
