Thanks hon. Yeah, the banking thing does seem weird. I sent an email to the banking ombudsman's office asking about it as it just defies logic. As for Amazon, well, I guess I should expect that from a multi-billion dollar company that apparently only cares about money, not their customers. Appalling customer service.

WTF is Amazon paying by cheque for? And I don't understand why you'd need to have that money in your account either. That just seems weird.
